 SELLEYS LIQUID NAILS DIRECT STICK:

This is a single component, semi rigid, moisture-curing polyurethane based adhesive.  It is used for bonding most types of wood, parquet flooring, strip flooring and reconstituted timber sheet flooring to common substrates such as concrete, existing tongue & groove flooring, particleboard, and medium & high density fibre boards.

The adhesive is a rapid cure type with a controlled foaming formulation, which ensures increased bond area, thereby reducing the incidence of hollow spots.  The strength of the adhesive also significantly reduces the extent of cupping of wood strip flooring.

Available in a 14Kg (10L) Pail and 700gram Sausage with coverage rates of 20m2 and 1m2  respectively when used in accordance with the prescribes application notes.

Liquid Nails Direct Stick® LF Low Foaming timber flooring adhesive.  A high performance, low foaming and rapid cure polyurethane flooring adhesive.  It is suitable for fixing parquetry flooring (and timber strip flooring on smooth level surfaces) directly to concrete and timber substrates, offering significant advantages over other more conventional flexible type flooring adhesives.  Available in a 12kg size covering 20m2.

A highly cross linked, pigmented two pack epoxy water vapour barrier system, for sealing concrete floor slabs, to reduce the amount of water vapour emanating from the concrete.

Application of a suitable moisture vapour barrier, such as VBS, can reduce the chance of problems developing with wooden floors at a later stage.

One coat of VBS at the recommended application rate, on properly prepared concrete, is normally sufficient to reduce the moisture transmission rate from a cured slab to less than 15g / m2 / 24hrs.  (ATSM F1869-98)
